Cards By Lucinda was set up by myself almost 2 years ago, after much support and pushing from friends and family. I had been making Christmas cards for local businesses for almost 6 years and encouraged to take a stall at a Craft Fayre, resulting in a demand and need to 'set up shop.'
I now supply 2 shops with a small selection of cards and have my internet shop too! Keeps me very busy. Isn't it wonderful to have your hobby pay!
I am a busy mum of 3, Sebastian 7, Josephine 5 and Benjamin 2. I also run and own a lovely village pub/resturant with my husband of 7 years John.
I have always crafted, be it paper craft, knitting, tapestry, cross stitch or crochet, and have quite a lot of work hidden in the depths of my home and that of family.
My dream has always been to own my own shop and sell my work, as a child that meant a building! Today I have just that but by way of modern technology! Isn't it fantastic!
